Default Identify sensor
I'm trying to find out what sensor I found hanging the down toward the bottom rear of my motor. It was still plugged in to harness but sensor broke in half due to heat I'm guessing. It only has on wire and one prong and it's green plastic

Yes, the Knock sensor. It could be why you have a CEL.

ugh, I hate when that happens. Why is this particular sensor so fragile??
