Default Exhaust

Yerrrr, aii so I had my 04 Civic ex (manual) for about 8 months now, i got a intake mod but that's about it, I'm looking for an exhaust setup, I know d17s are slow and nothings gonna make it faster, but I'm interested to see what recommendation ya got. Also I was thinking about a yonaka exhaust, if anyone got that setup lmk how it fits

Yonaka- no first hand experience but they look shiny and run about $500 shipped.

here's what I did.
tubing kit - $120
https://www.trubendz.com/products/01...luminized.html
resonator- $14
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/jex-a3512b/overview/
muffler - $32
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/jex-fb2441/overview/

use the $334 your saving to buy a welder (if you don't already have one...) and when you're done with the exhaust, you also have a welder.

doesn't looks as fancy, but it works great and sounds good. dress it up with a chrome tip if you'd like. i didn't bother.

DO NOT BUY YONAKA

I got my cat back from them Dec 2019 and when it got to me it was missing hardware. I contacted them and they blamed me for losing the bolts so I had to bother them for 2 weeks to have them send the bolts. When I installed it I came to find out that the fitment is terrible, rattles constantly against the body and was not happy. I took it to a few places to see if maybe I installed it incorrectly, and they could not resolve the issue. It took 4 months of emails and calls for them to talk to me on the issue and only sent me $50 back after I threatened legal action.
I will say it sounds great and looks nice.

No, it won't. Entirely different drivetrain, vehicle length, and the exhaust exits on the opposite side of the engine.

No, k20 exhaust manifold comes down the back of the engine bay. D17 comes down the front near the radiator.
Make sure you get a resonator in addition to the pretty tip.
I did that and I have a nice deep tone, makes the engine sound larger than it is. Use 2.25" or 2.5" pipe if you're staying NA.

Dual muffler

Hurd you, I'm not getting the Yokohana exhaust, I'm looking at this rsx 05 base, exhaust from cat, so won't need to change any manifolds. It's for a 04 ex, know how fit will be?

Be aware that that is still a 1.75" exhaust and will likely need to be modified at a muffler shop. I got my 2 mufflers off amazon and took them to a muffler shop 2 towns over. They charged me $150 to bend up the 2.5" mild steel pipe from the oil pan back and weld on my mufflers.
In my opinion, the stock rsx exhaust is still very restrictive.

well honestly I really don't even care about the size of the tip, lol I just want something that's not leaking cuz of rust. And I feel like the Acura probably got a better exhaust then mines

Then just take it to your local Midas muffler. They'll fix your rusty leak for less than $100. you can have them remove your resonator at the same time to gain a little volume.
