Default Turbo J32a2 - MoTeC M170 Tuning Questions

Going to be running a twin turbo J32a2 on a MoTeC M170 standalone. My question is how do I get a standalone thats basically a blank slate to start up and run a Honda J series. Do I need a basemap? Do MoTeC M1 series ecu's even use basemaps? I've read something about these ecu's using different "firmware". Is that what I need? Firmware designed for a J332a2? Where can I get it? From my understanding there are certain racing companies that have "firmware licenses" to make "firmware".

Looks like firmware designed specifically for a Honda/Acura J series and the MoTeC M1 series ecu's is what I need. I still can't seem to find anyone that makes it though.

I've read of some people's builds with a j32 or j35 running the older MoTeC M800 series, so I assume there is firmware available for those but idk about the newer, more capable M1 series (M170 specifically).
