Hello. Im currently in the process of swapping a B18B/B16 trans into a 97 Delsol Automatic.
-I have a stock integra t bracket and stock integra 3 bolt post mount.
I am having trouble with the tranmission mount.
I have tried a stock integra mount but it sits way to low as pictured.
I should also mention the when the billet mount is in place it lines up dead center with the small pin hole on the chassis bracket in the first picture. However im not sure if the CV will line up I think it would considering the valve cover looks level.
The billet mount is an Acura integra Auto to Manual conversion mount. The conversion mounts bolt hole sits to far on the passenger side
If the bushing of the conversion mount sat a few inches close torwards the transmission id be fine
MY QUESTION IS HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER DONE THIS? DO YOU KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG? This build is ready to roll I just need this damn mount figured out..
I CURRENTLY HAVE A 92-95 Civic D series conversion mount on the way. From the pictures on the listing it looks like the bushing sits a lot more forward.
I believe the Integra mount only works for the Integra. What about the stock del sol manual transmission mount? There has to be a few threads of B series in D series. I'll be doing something similar this summer on a 95 crx del sol. B series transmission.
Well I was noobing hard earlier. Its been awhile since ive messed with one of these.
Hasport has a deticated B series auto to manual mount for EG/Delsol.
eBay sellers also seem to carry knock offs of the item.
A stock mount for a D/B are the exact same. The conversion mounts however are much taller.
I bought a billet D series Conversion Mount from an ebay seller. It was labeled souly as a D series mount. Yet B and D series mounts are the same so im kinda riding on that. If it doesnt work my only option are hasport or fab something up.
There must be a difference betweeen the Integra and EG/Delsol Chassis mount brackets. What theyre I have no clue. I had a hard time finding anyone willing to waste their time answering my questions lol. Understandable but **** I try to help anyone at any chance I get. Some cant do the same.

Who hasn't once bought a knock off item and learned the hard way?

Negativity? haha...funny ****, newb. It's obvious he was trying to cheap out a few bucks by getting some cheap crap and he finally realizes it doesn't fit. That's something you might learn as well.
I didn't learn how to wrench on cars from watching my dad or by going to some mechanic's school. Buying the correct part is COMMON SENSE.

If you aren't going to help the thread then go wrench in a car or do something productive. Instead it's apparent there are members in this community who feel the need to be an ***. Go be an *** in a board where people want that treatment.
I was on TGC back in the late 90s...DSM forum I'd imagine most have never heard of. The community was great. It wasn't trollers and millenials trying to stroke their ego by talking down to people.
4 people responded and only 1 progressed the thread. seems normal, usually 2 or 3 people have their hands on their phones while I'm doing all the work.
