But you need to find a Power Excel dealer (rotary guys still use Power FC ) to get more assistance

Basically they are dealers that have Apex'i's software and hardware in .HDX format so that they can manipulate the FC in ways the commander can't. That format can read both 1st & 2bd gen FC ECUs.

That list link might be outdated. You can also call Apex'i directly to get more information

I agree, it looks pretty outdated. Only one I could find when I looked around though. Power FC is old enough now that I imagine you're going to have a tough time finding anyone who still has a machine that can run it.

Actually, not really. 2 come to mind, its just that many of the older true tuners invested in the class and in the system. with new "E-tuners" out here, they only incest in what's popular, not always what works.

Power Excel dealers were always few and far between, because Apex'i wouldn't just allow any shop to be an EXCEL Dealer. the 2nd Gen software is incredible. I'm on Haltech while my wife will be getting my 2nd gen Pwer FC because we know the tuner is still around

That's good to know. I mostly meant that I was guessing that there wasn't software current to say, a Windows 10 machine - not that there weren't currently any tuners left. Have they kept it updated? I have some connections to A'PEXi through work, but I haven't kept up with it.

I'm not familiar with that system at all. But, there are a lot of hidden gems that people on H-T don't like to use.
