Car engine making "whining sound" sound when revving down
Hello guys,
My car is Honda Civic 2014 lx with around 90000 kms. I apologize if I am butchering my words
I am trying to investigate a specific sound in my engine where this morning I revved up my engine while in neutral then upon revving down, it kind of momentarily "holds the rpm" just right before reaching the idle rpm
Specifically, during the moment it holds the rpm, it makes some kind of "ieeeeee" sound ( I think it similar to a sound of belt whining?)
I appreciate all the help as I am new in cars. Thanks
