EG dash illumination lights not working

Default EG dash illumination lights not working

Every light working in dash besides illumination back light for gauges climate control lights work dimmer switch works

Look for a break in the red/black wire between the dimmer switch and the back of the gauge cluster.

1) Buy a multimeter if you don't have one.

2) Unplug the cluster connectors.

3) Check whether all Red/Blk wires (there are multiple) from fuse 19 have battery voltage with the parking lights turned on.

4) If the Red/Blk wires have battery voltage, test whether the Red wires (there are multiple) that run to the dimmer switch have good ground.

The tests above will pinpoint the problem.

i replaced my actual turn signal switch and that fixed that issue for me when that happened to me
