Default CRV AWD Final Drive change

Hi Gents,

Just wanted to ask what is needed to perform a FD ratio change on a CRV gearbox.

Reason I ask is im installing the CRV running gear on my Turbo B16a in a 1969 mini. We can only run 13inch wheels and the gearing will be way to short for these wheels.

I see a 4.0 FD is available from suppliers in USA. Im going to try to get a 3.7 ratio. Would this affect the ratio between the gearbox and the CRV diff? do I need to replace the reduction gear aswell?

Thanks,
Brad.

I can do a 3.91, email me if you want more info. Chris@wd-r.com. It doesn't affect the rear end final drive so you don't need to change the reduction gear.
