Golden Eagle Head Gasket Orientation. Numbers should be facing up.
I have a question about the golden eagle head gasket that I am a bit confused on. On one side of the gasket it says up and on the other side it says GEM. Now my question is which side is suppose to facing up when installed onto the block? I have heard the the GEM is suppose to be facing up but why would the other side say UP on it? This is going on a ls/v turbo if that makes a difference.
