Default random head gasket question

if im 81.5 and i need to get a head gasket, do i buy one for 82mm? the tech at cometic said to do that. i will possibly be purchasing their hybrid series head gasket if i can get any responses soon.

No you buy the gasket to match your bore. Apparently Cometics customer service/tech department is as shitty as their gaskets. Buy an OEM or get one from Golden Eagle. My cometic lasted 952 miles before I had to replace it due to it leaking oil out between my head and block, put a golden eagle (oem) gasket in there, and leak be gone

would make sense. i already got their dowel pins.(shrugs/sighs) might as well pay the extra 30 bucks for reliability.

I'm 81.5 and just run the oem honda gasket. Works great.

my block has been decked and some **** has been taken off the head. still suggest doing it?

ok so assuming this is a gsr head i should match the gasket to the head. ok, cool.

Get .5 over your bore. I learned the hard way with cometic. Golden eagle and be done with it.
