98 Civic EX - Knock Sensor/02 Sensor
Before anyone asks, it is a manual with close to 250k miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner of the car, had it for 10 years. Kept up on general stuff, oil, filters, etc. Which I know doesn't really have anything to do with sensors, but I know at least 1 person is gonna be the troll and ask lol
So i was driving home from work on the highway when my check engine light came on. Went to auto zone and got 2 Error codes: P0325 and P0420. Now, my car hasn't been running any different. No loss in power, mileage, werid sounds/knocks when I gun it or go up hills. NOT A DAMN THING. Just normal performance.
So my questions are the following:
Where is the knock sensor located??? I've been seeing 2 different things on where it is located. Just above the oil filter or near the timing belt.
How hard is the Knock sensor to replace??? I've already priced one on Rock Auto for 60ish bucks.
Could one of the codes have cause the other to trip??? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but if I can save some money and either not get the 02 or not get the Knock sensor, I'd like to.
Is it ok to drive my car around, like to and from work still??? I know it needs to be taken care of since "Winter us coming" but until I get the parts, should I let it sit and get a ride to work until I get the parts to fix it?
Lastly, do any of you have any wisdom when it comes to this area??? Hints, tips, and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any and all help with this.
