Default Battery Drains

My 2017 Accord Sedan is draining .91A with the engine off and nothing I can see on (car not in Accessory mode). Is this normal?

Probably be more helpful to post it on the right forum.

At a guess, does the car have a courtesy / follow me home / interior lighting that remains on timer after the key is removed? Modern cars have systems that continue to run for periods of time after the engine is shut off.

Is your battery dying? or did you just measure it and are uncertain if it's normal?

Sorry I mis-posted on this forum. Battery was dead yesterday. But I also wondered if .91A bleed was in spec. Interior lights do stay on briefly but do go out after a few minutes.

regardless of the car, a 1amp draw is obviously too much.

typical troubleshooting tactic is to measure across individual fuses to see which system is causing the issue and go from there.

on a 2017 car, that should be a warranty issue, let the dealer figure it out.

Took it to Honda dealer. They replaced the battery ($167) and said there was no battery bleed. We’ll see.

Hope this works out for you. Will be interested to hear back, if that took care of the problem. Honda dealer, huh? Haven't used one of those in a very long time, since there's so many more reasonably priced independent shops with Honda as a specialty.

All's well so far. The reason I used a dealer was the car is still in warranty.
