02 Accord, 4cyl auto with 200000. New starter seemed to go out after a month or so. Replaced, still sounded like starter is not meshing with the flywheel and grinding. Towed it home, bad battery, replaced. Same thing. Went over the car with a multimeter and noticed that the starter relay wire is reading battery voltage without key cranked to start, and reading nothing when it is. Opposite of what you'd expect. Serviced all grounds, rebuilt both battery cables, did continuity check on ignition switch, checked all fuses. All good. Problem persists and I'm at a loss. Talked to 3 techs at a dealership and they had no idea.
