CA 93 Del So S automatic- $1600
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto...8647.htmlsize: compact
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
type: coupe
I have a 1993 Del Sol S automatic for sale
$1600 OBO- looking to get rid of it quickly. CLEAN TITLE
The chassis has 219360 miles. The car was originally bought in September 2019 as donor car for my other Del sols. But I ended up fixing it (the body is in really good shape- other than right front fender and driver door).
A newer engine (120k) was just installed recently.
Pro
1. Newer engine ($400 +$800 labor)
2. New cooling system (all hoses, radiator, thermostat) are all just replaced. $400
3. All new fluids. $100
4. AC was just recharged- blows very cold.
5. New OEM Idle control valve and fast idle valve ($250 parts)
5. 16” BBS wheel with 80% tires left
6. New speakers $118
7. Passed smog and registration is through 9/8/2020
8. Vapor seal was replaced in both door.
9. Interior is 100% complete with new door handles.
10. All of the wiring was returned to OEM (no cut wires). Personal peeve of mine.
All was done between 9/15 to 10/17
Con
1. Need new paint
2. Need body work in driver door and right fender (or you can find one from junk yard and replace).
3. Need new trunk lock cylinder- it was popped before I got the car. I haven’t opened trunk since I got it. So probably need to rekey entire car locks
4. Need front rotor to be re-surfaced.
I was going to give this to my daughter as back up in case her main car dies. So no expense was spared.
Mechanically this car is 9 out of 10 with exception that rotor needs re-surfacing.
Cosmetically it has very good body. Right fender and driver door are the only thing really need replacing (I do have a spare teal door).
I will throwing following parts
1. Impossible to find new windshield trims- this costed me $280 from japan
2. Spare driver door (no wiring- I need wiring for the power door lock conversion).
