Del Sol interior door handles are loose
My 93 sol has a problem with it's interior door handles.
As far as i can see, they're only held in by 1 screw and it isn't enough to make the door handle fit tightly to the door itself. The door handles fit so loosely that the door lock motor can't move the lock. How do i fix this? Are there more mount screws behind that square cover on the door handle?

Re: Del Sol interior door handles are loose
My 93 del Sol has a couple of clips molded into the plastic (like the ones on the fuse panel door) that slip into slots in the door sheet metal; one of the handles had the clip sections break off of the handle and that let the whole interior unit slop around loose on the mounting screw. I had to replace the handle unit to fix it. The locks wouldn't work until I did, as there was too much slop for the linkages to get enough leverage to throw the mechanism.

on the old handle, it turns out the clip in the back was worn out and broken.
