Default Piston ring help ( can I mix match brand piston rings?

I have this b18 block that I had a machine shop bore to 82mm. I start assembling the crank and now on to the pistons. Make long story short I have a problem with the piston rings. 1st rings have a good gap at .015" or 0.38mm.
2nd ring gap on the other hand is too loose at .026" or 0.66mm. I have set a of hastings piston rings which are good at .017" or 0.43mm. Will it be safe to use NPR top and oil rings and use Hastings 2nd ring? Or should I just use those NPR with how the gaps are right now? Pls shed some info on what should or could i do. Thanks in advance. Ps I've been searching and couldnt find an answer. I found somebody did with those gaps but it was on a d series.

yeah thats not a problem. its important to use 1st on top and 2nd in 2nd because each piston ring is another ring. some have a lip or nose on 2nd ring, to seal better.
