So what suspension did they show at 1:18? That's definitely not ITR suspension. DC5 maybe?

 

I think you are correct. DC5, narrow lower control arm, caliper mounted aft of the axle.

They did run a 2010 Civic SI but that has a fatter lower control arm. TSX is double wishbone. ILX again, fatter lower control arm and caliper on the front of the knuckle.

 

Brings a tear to my eye ! Only ever went to one of the RTR ITR races - 2002 RFK Stadium. Were still some 'more or less' grass-roots entries in the Touring Car class along with the cars to beat (ITR, BMW etc). To this day, those Touring Car races are some of the best wheel/wheel action you can get. Routine for 2-3 cars to try to enter corners at the same time - great stuff !

Only thing against that R is that the caption read 1997, they retired the cars in 2001 and there wasn't a DC5 until 2001. Maybe they updated it in the rebuild/restoration? Seems an odd thing to do if they were going for authenticity.
