I recently picked up a 2001 civic coupe EX. The passenger side door has the trim peeling off like so:



The peeling off makes it so that when passenger side window rolls down, it drags the weather molding in such a way as to get stuck on the way back up, killing the window motor as it struggles against the rubber resistance.

Can anyone kindly provide a link/instructions on a replacement? I googled around getting 3rd party items of questionable quality + not sure if proper terminiology for this is b-pillar or door trim, or it means the same thing.

I prefer OEM but a trusted, respectable 3rd party replacement part also works.

Thank you for reply, from that site you listed, what part # is my trim piece? Looks like #10?

 

No I think it would be either #5 or #6 for the right/passenger side. Not sure which one of these 2 parts though... Hard for me to tell without the vehicle in front of me.

 

So I ordered parts 5,6 on that linked page but later received an email from the site saying that those parts been discounted by Honda of America.

Wondering, happen to know some aftermarket parts that are legit, worth spending money on and will fit correctly?
