Icon5 93 Del Sol Oil Pump Problems?

Hey ya'll! I recently changed the oil pan on d15 Del Sol. After replacing it and filling it with oil I started the car up to be greeted with a pretty rough sounding start up, like the engine was struggling to get going for a few seconds then it ran fine. that hasn't happened since but every time I let it sit for a few hours now and try to start it my oil light will come on for a moment, it sounds a little rough then a sound will come from somewhere in the engine that sounds sharp, kind of like the same pitch from a thin rattling heat shield, the oil light will turn off, and the car will run fine. I've driven this 1000+ miles since the oil pan replacement, I check the oil levels constantly, I check the pan for leaks constantly, and while it is actually running it feels completely normal. For some more potentially needed context, the pan Rock Auto sent me was made incorrectly so I had to wait 2-3 days for a new one to arrive. While waiting my car sat with the old oil pan and gasket hand tightened to the engine with no oil in it. Does anyone know what could be causing this? If my pump is damaged I'd love to know so I can replace it before it gets worse Thank you all for your time!!

There might be something going on with the oil pick up. Just a guess, hard to tell.
Consider dropping the pan and checking it out. The pan should not contact the oil pick up.
