Default Black and yellow distributor wire

Hi I have a 98 civic ex with an lsvtec swap. I cannot get spark from the distributor and I noticed the black/yellow wire has no power to it. If I jump 12v to this wire, I can get spark and the car will run. My question is what is the cause of no power to this wire? I believe I traced to back to the plug on the driver side shock tower and it turns into a red/silver wire and goes through the firewall. All fuses are good under the dash. Please help me. Tia.

Power comes from 15A fuse 9 under the dash. Start there, then out to the shock tower plug, then to the distributor. That wire only feeds the coil, so it should be easy to find any issues.

Thanks! Problem fixed. It was fuse 9 under the dash. I checked and re checked all the fuses several times and they were all good, the problem is that fuse 9 was missing! 🤔. Now I got spark!

I bought a Honda Prelude for my first car, non running but don’t know why. Bought it stolen so I had to replace the pcm, immobilizer, key egnition etc. Engine cranks but it wont start. I narrowed it down to the distributor not getting any power from the 12V Black and Yellow wire. I checked all my fuses for continuity and all are in working condition. Any ideas why? Also just recently replaced the battery.
