Default Cv axle angles

First off, the main question: Can CV axles be at an angle from front to back?

Now the explanation: So I’m doing sort of an uncommon swap, I’m putting a euro spec B20H23A with manual trans into an originally automatic 1990 Prelude and I’m running into what I think is an issue. I’m not the one that took the original engine out so I don’t know what it was like and I’m not really a FWD guy so I don’t really know if this will be a problem or not. So I’ve got the engine positioned squared and level in the engine bay with about 1/2” of clearance between the top corner of the transmission and the crossmember but the trans output is about an 1 1/2” in front of the hubs which means the cv axles will be at an angle front to back. I can’t get the engine back any more unless I modify the crossmember. Now I know it’s ok to have an angle up and down but I don’t enough to know if an angle front to back is a problem or not.

Thanks for any advice!
