Starting up problem

Default Starting up problem

Replaced my clutch and pressure plate put everything back together checked the starter after I tried staring it and noting happened nor the cluster or radio turn on however my head rest light lights up can somebody help plz

did you forget your ground on the transmission? or were you lazy and left battery disconnected and probably shorted power wire while taking starter off.

Yea I did leave the battery disconnected well taking of the starter what would I have to replace the power wire from the battery back ??

As stated check your transmission ground to the chassis to make sure it’s tight and getting good connection. Also make sure you signal wire is connected to the starter ( that little terminal that goes on the small connector on the starter.

If tranny ground is good. Then check your fuse for the starter relay.

If its good then then check your starter, get a wire long enough to jump from the positive on the battery to the bigger connector with the nut that screws on top of the starter ( warning: just tap wire on the terminal DO NOT HOLD IT ON THERE for long or you’ll fry the starter )

if it turns over then your starter is still good and start troubleshooting your wire connections and ignition switch and top clutch switch.
