Modern Replacement Fuel Injectors for B series - Bosch/Denso
Restoring a 1992 civic si hatch with B16. The injectors are just stock 240cc oem injectors. One of the top hats is cracked, so I was thinking instead of replacing these with 25 year old style injectors, might as well upgrade to newer style Bosch or denso injectors with better atomization. Does anybody know the proper path to go down? I'm looking for what model may work, preferably using stock injector harness without adapter, but adapter may be acceptable as well. Just looking for 240cc.
Thanks, well I bought some stick replacement EV6 bosxh units from Five O Motorsport. They are the newer 4 hole version which should be an improvement. O side tiger was nice, they called me back and probably had the better option, 12 hole denso injectors at about $20-30 more. I would have got those but already placed order for Bosch.
What's dodgy about Bosch? The EV14 is the current defacto standard for port injectors, and their GDI injectors are almost universal in the industry as well.
OP, do you have some sort of aftermarket engine management? Swapping to a different style of injector, especially a more modern hi-res type, will require adjustment of injector offsets to run correctly. If you don't want to do that, you should stick to an injector that is similar in design to your originals (maybe a rebuilt set from RC/etc.). Beyond that, I highly recommend switching to something more modern.

I'm just using stock computer now, according to Five O Motorsport they are plug and play no issues. The ones I bought are Bosch EV6 style with adapter cables. They cost $170. I'll be getting s300 soon for turbo so if needed I can install then.
