Default Midwest Bro building a sleeper '94 Civic (just being honest)

Hello! I'm excited to be officially joining the forums, as a couple of people have pointed me to this direction, and I was visiting different posts so often that I realized I should just make some posts about my car and give a full rundown of where it currently is.

Cars I've owned prior:
-2011 Eclipse GS (rip)
-2005 Grand Prix GT (na 3.8)
-2006 Grand Prix GT (Supercharged)

Here's the short version:

About 2 months ago, I became the proud owner of a 1994 Honda Civic DX Coupe in factory black. Now, when I had first seen the craigslist add, what caught my eye was that this had both an engine swap AND a transmission swap. I slowly had the realization that this had potential, having only about 124-125k on the body, and with a claimed 82k B16A2 out of a del Sol paired to a GSR 5-speed. The test drive was nice, though it also has headers and a Stage 2 clutch of some sort. The stock exhaust had taken a **** both in the rear and mid mufflers. It's a noisey ****.

really, really noisey

^^that is about to change when my new headers and resonator comes in to be matched up with a 2.5" straight pipe to a 4" tip

Honda tride and Honda true, it is a daily that has had only some minor problems that had to be taken care of pretty swiftly. The only time I've been stranded so far was when the horribly stretched timing belt slipped coming off of the interstate and the car died when I pressed in the clutch coming to a stop. My intake cam had done a 180, but luckily was fixed a couple days later.

I have fairly big plans for the car.

I'm talking wire tuck everything, weight reduction (currently sitting around 2,250lbs), full suspension and brakes, body kit, wrap, etc.

300hp (crank or wheel, idc tbh) is the power goal.

I want this to be a daily that can gap on the streets, vibe at the meets, and overall just be a modern take on a build that emulates the late 90s/early 2ks tuner wave.

It's my first build. My first manual (I already knew how to drive stick and had experience before buying) that I've owned. My second coupe, but this one is waayyyy better in my opinion.

I will be posting pictures tomorrow a little before sunset, and after some minor detailing. Keep in mind, the swap was done in a way that it is drivable, but it needs a decent amount of work and preventative maintenance. The body isn't in the nest shape right now, but I'm interested in where I'm at come next summer.

Also, a quick question that is pressing as my clutch is far too aggressive. What would be a good, light clutch to throw in? I daily in the midwest, and with this winter coming up I need something that will make sliding a lot easier to manage.

That is all!

Thanks for your time
