Okay so I just purchased a 04 civic ex had I know what I know now I woulda put 1800 into my blown up 98 civic but anywho. First things first it had a broke motor mount when i got it I thought okay I'll fix that turns put someone had put the wrong motor mount on it broke one out of the 3 holes in the block (its a manual) and to make it fit the hammered the mount bracket over by like 2 inchs. After I fixed that whole mess and managed to get 2 bolts in the right mount and too the bracket I thought oh good lord who the **** has worked on this car before then I noticed the egr valve wasnt plugged up looked for the connector and couldnt find it instead I founf these two

Then I see this and cant even to begin to explain why


no vtec solinoid no wonder why this motor was gutless after about 4000 rpm can somebody give me some insight did they use the old wiring harness made for the d17a2 and quite possibly the same computer?
