I have a 97 honda civic and i need help. Im not sure exactly what to do here. Motor mount bracket ( that goes from the motorto the motor mount) is stripped out i have tried to rethread it and tap it but the bolt quickly works its way back out right after.. Any tips or ideas on how to fix this problem

Aluminum weld, drill, re-tap. Had this done (by a shop) with my old B18B1 motor back in the day....

Yikes! That sucks! I would probably have just taken a saw-zaw or cutoff wheel to the spinning stud and butt welded a new stud directly to the frame. screeeeeeeeeeeew cutting open the frame haha

Depending on the location of the stripped hole (frame or motor) will depend on your simple solution.

If it's in the frame, you can cut the stud hole to take a rivnut or if it's in the motor you can do a time-sert.

Neither method requires welding or cutting holes into frames etc.
