First i want to say thanks for taking the time trying to help me. Short story. I just bought a 1996 Del Sol Si (D16Y8). I got it to be my daily driver to work. Just 5 miles each way. I got it for a steal at 800 dlls.

BAD: I could not test the car properly because the key was missing. But the guy did start the car and it started with no issues. Could not test the transmission because the steering wheel was locked but it did go threw all and it was going from P to R to D with no grinds. About 2-3 days later, i finally got the Key from Honda and it was the correct one. So i test drove the car and the car shifts from 1st to 2nd at 4.5K to 5K RPM. From 2nd to 3rd from 3.5K to 4K at this speed im up to 40-45 mph. I dont want to drive in the FWY because im afraid something might go wrong. When slowing down the RMP drop to about 2K and it downshift a bit hard.

2 different mechanics came to check the car. One told me to change the complete throttle body and the sensors because the cable is very hard and that might be causing the car not to shift properly. The 2nd mechanic told me just to replace the Transmission Solenoids and that would fix the issue. (did this and still same issue) then he told me i have the wrong ECU on my car (37820-P28-A53 is what i got). He also told me to just swap the transmission.

Now someone who is good with this car layout could share some light on what can it be. I can take videos and post them if needed. I just trust forums more that mechanics that could possible just want money and dont care to help out to fix the issue.
