Default Help figuring out why the engine acting up..

Hey guys, I really appreciate all the help from the previous post! I was able to find the short that kept on blowing the 80A fuse and fixed the problem so big thank you.
so now that there is power. I started the car, first thing I noticed the belts were squeaking like crazy even though they are new, the engine was revving up and down like big revs and all weird , and the rpm gauge inside the car shows 0.
we just got done replacing the head gasket and putting new timing belt, new alternator and ac belt. but what could be the problem for the belts squeaking like loud and crazy? too tight? too loose? and why the engine is revving up and down like crazy without pressing on the gas pedal and the rpm gauge and stuff like not moving. I am so close to get the car finally running and I appreciate all the help! you guys are my hero.
its 2004 Honda Civic DX
Thank you very much

With the belts, make sure you have proper tension, too loose and too tight they can squeal.
The Tach not getting a signal may be a wire left unplugged or two wires may have gotten crossed, any CEL's on?
The revving could be a sensor or it could be a vacuum line unplugged or broke. But scan for codes first and see what you have.

How to know the proper tension, for the timing belt I just tight it as much as I can, and as for the alternator and the ac, it have that quarter of an inch play, should I tight it more? or loose it?
I am looking all over the place for any wires that are unplugged or something, and no CEL at all
the revving might be related to the vacuum, but no codes to scan, so what do you recommend with the belts and the vacuum?

do you think my timing belt is related to all this or no?

UPDATE: so I tighten the belts and made sure no vacuum leak, no more squeak but I think the idle speed is high and that the throttle body need to be adjusted. does anyone know how ti adjust the idle speed and the throttle body?

You could start with the coolant temp. sensor

The coolant temp sensor and the radiator fan switch been replaced already. But the car seem to like idling fast and I can till the throttle probably need to be adjusted cus it sound like it’s pressed on a little . The Honda dx doesn’t have rpm gauge

sorry it's called a Idle Air Control valve , (IAC) , you can do a search or go on U -toob they have a ton of car repair videos ., I don't think you can adjust the idle , it is controlled by the components being in good working order . High idle doesn't sound like an IAC problem but I'm not sure . that's why I said clean the valve and the port it sits in .

After I got the car all good to go I took it for a little test drive it was running fine for 15 mins then the temperature start rising all the way to the H and the oil logo
on the dash board came on... I made sure there was oil and coolant before I went out for the ride. Luckily I was close to my drive way so I parked the there was smoke coming from the engine compartment because the coolant was like boiling and spilled around and on the exhaust on the back was pushing white smoke a little. I don’t know why it does that it’s new head gasket replaced, new radiator, new valves timing belt, drive belt, ac belt.. any inputs or suggestions what the problem might be?

This sounds like you still have a cooling system leak caused by a warped cylinder head. I've been there, done that! :-)

Very possibly, where to start looking?

Fill the engine and cooling system up to the top. Run the engine and carefully check for leaks.
Watch for expansion & contraction of coolant in the overflow bottle.
If the coolant overflow bottle is overfilling, this is a CLEAR indicator of a blown head gasket and/or warped cylinder head.
Also, look for signs of coolant mixing with oil, this is another indicator.
