Default 1994 DX Hatch to EX Coupe Conversion Problems

I've spent the last month or so swapping from a D15B7 to a D16Z6 from a healthy donor car, as well as the entire wiring harness from the EX coupe. The only original wiring from my hatch is from the driver side harness and back. The only problem i'm having now is some electrical things.
I'm trying to connect the front half of the EX coupe harness (includes harness that goes to the door and connects to the main harness), to the back half of the DX hatch harness (goes to everything electrical behind the driver seat).

There are 19 wires on the EX driver side harness () and 21 wires on the DX driver side harness.
I know that because of this harness swap, I will be loosing use of the rear wiper as well as the power that goes to the window washer pump that cleans the back window. I don't really use them anyways so I could care less.
I connected all the wires that matched, and was left with 4 wires.
- EX harness side
  • Red/white (also it sparks when I touch it to bare metal)

- DX harness side
  • White/black (The white kinda looks like a really light shade of green, but that may just be me)
  • Green (There were two of these, connected one to a thicker insulated green wire on the EX harness)
  • Green/black (There were also two of these, only connected one to EX harness)

I simply connected the wires that matched and this is what I would up with:

- The Good
  • Engine is cranking
  • Everything in the engine bay works electrically
- The Bad
  • Taillights/License plate lights don't work
  • The horn blares whenever I press the brake pedal (I have no idea what would cause this to happen)
  • Fuel pump is not priming, stopping me from starting my engine
  • The reverse lights come on whenever I move around the harness

I've spent hours trying to find diagrams of those DX and EX harnesses to no avail, and looked around forums to see if anyone has done this before, but could not find anyone. And I am a novice when it comes to electrical things.
Does anyone have diagrams of an EX coupe driver side harness and a DX hatch driver side harness? Is there an easier way to do this? Or is there something small that I'm missing.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I need to fix this by Wednesday so I can get an alignment because I head off for college this Friday.
Thank you all.

I just did this conversion for a 96 civic hatchback. It was plug and play for the most part. Was there a reason you started splicing those specific wires? Did you cut the old harness out or did you unplug it from the chassis and interior fuse box?

you need to remove the battery out of the picture prior to cut/splicing wires. At this point, you have more on your hands than you can handle. Just being honest....

Unless your original wires are totally jacked up, why did you even bother with splicing the wires to begin with??

Not sure why you cut the floor harness . You should probably get another at this point. I don't have wiring schematic for your car, but I do for a integra. The horn relay at the fuse box also powers your taillights , which probably explains the horn blaring.

I second that you should get a new ex harness. Probably your best bet at this point unless you had a reason for trying to splice in the new harness. Can you upload more photos?

90% of the time the easiest path isn't always the prettiest.

i would've just swapped the entire floor harness

Ok thanks guys I figured it out a few plugs needed to be switched and I didnt ****** plug in fuel pump relay lmao so everything works except the rear wiper for obvious reasons. And yes I could have simply pulled the floor harness from the ex coupe and put in it my hatch but my dumbass thought it would be better to connect the ex and dx harnesses there and by chance everything works. Unfortunately my heater core sprout a leak into the cabin and my fan wont switch on but I'll figure those out soon enough,
