Default 08 Accord wipers and washer pump

My 08 Accord has recently stopped spraying washer fluid or running the wipers when I pull the right column stick back for "wash". The wipers do work on all regular settings. The washer pump doesn't work on any settings including "wash".

I have not tested the connector to the pump yet but, I'm wondering if the center column switch is bad or if it's actually the washer pump.

I did check fuse #3 and it's good.

Anyone have some insight on this? Thanks!

To check if the problem is related to the wiper switch, remove the steering column covers.

Disconnect the 8P electrical connector to the wiper switch.
Locate connector cavity terminal number 1 (Yellow wire) and cavity terminal number 5 (Blk wire) on the disconnected connector. Use a spare piece of wire or small paper clip and and insert each end into these cavity terminals. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (car not running), does the wiper and washer pump work? If it does, the switch may be faulty.

You can also check the switch side by testing for continuity with a multi-meter at terminal no. 1 and 5 with the switch in the wiper/washer on position. There should be continuity with it in the on position.
