So our nanny bashed in our rear lift gate bad enough that it needs to be replaced. I can't find any salvage yards with a power lift gate. Is there any reason why you cant disconnect the power lift gate arm from the old door and re-attach it to the replacement door?

This is the first of 3 accidents she had with it. The second she tried to have her "uncle louie" fix without our knowledge. That's what resulted in her termination. Bringing the van back from her uncles shop she was involved in the THIRD incident. You can't make this stuff up.
