I bought a Sparco Speed shift **** online - it said it was Universal. I am currently using the Spoon Sports shift know. I got the item (finally) and it won't fit! It is too big.

Do you know what I need to do to install the Sparco Speed shift **** in my 1992 Civic hatchback???

So.. it also came with a bunch of super tiny screw and an allen wrench for them.. I'm guessing I'm supposed to do something with those..???

 

Probably you take the ring off of the bottom then there are little threaded holes to drive the set screws in from the side until they touch the shift lever and hold it in place.

 

Some of the ones I've seen have different sleeves you put into the *** to fit different common sized shifters.... Sounds like your universal doesn't have these fitment sleeves.
