HELP! Misfire on all 4/Rough Idle
Hi! I'm pretty new to the forum since I've only had my Integra for about a month or 2. Recently, it started misfiring during the first 30 seconds of the drive, and would self correct after a while. Tonight, when I tried to start the car, it would turn over, rev up like normal, and drop back down and off completely. I tried it a couple more times, but I found out that the only way to keep it idling (and misfiring at the same time) was to give it gas after ignition. I have a few ideas of what it could be (Bad fuel pump, vaccum leak in the intake, distributor??) but nothing has worked so far. I have new spark plugs and plug wires in it, and I was going to replace the distributor cap and rotor until I realized it was something involving the gas pedal being pressed to keep it running. Any help would be more than appreciated, thanks in advance!!
I don't know about yours, but on mine there's a cylinder on the back of the intake with a plug and 2 small coolant hoses. It's the electric idle control (code 7 I think). It's not the iacv, they are 2 separate items. They used it on 91 and 92, but I don't know about other generations.

I do have one, I just haven't looked at it. If it is the culprit of the misfire, is there a way to clean it/repair it or do I have to buy the entire part for it? Also, how would I know that the IAC is even the cause? ALSO: The codes I have for it is p0300 for Random Misfire and p0301-p0304 for all 4 cylinders misfiring
Check your ignition and mech timing.
Look up how to clean your IACV this should help with starting the engine and not having to push the gas pedal to keep it running. Also a bad ECT sensor can cause the engine to run rough if the sensor is bad, when the engine warms up it doesn't give the correct voltage to the ecu and the engine will misfire or run rich.
