I have this p28 laying around and I want to know if the board is bad or good before I try selling it . My homie re- solder it and put some of that liquid substance to help it? Idk I got it for free so if its bad im not tripping

don't know if it's good until you plug her in and see if it runs the car and cel operates normally.

 

Tomcat, that might be the flux from the solder making it look a little brown on the pads instead of overheating, but I agree, you can't tell by looking at it - you have to plug it in and try it out.

 

Yeah, thought that too.

The top picture it looks like the bottom small section is burnt, that's what made me think it might have been something other than just flux as it seems to also go in a fairly straight line.

 

Plug it into a car and try it. No codes is a good sign. CEL on is bad...
