Hello, I was wanting to know if anyone knows how to fix the rear window strut mounting location in the car. I bought the car with only 1 strut, never figured out why it only had one, but today I went to install a new set, I noticed their wasn't anything to screw it into. I was looking online for the part to have it welded back in, but I couldn't find anything. I was thinking about welding in a nut and washer, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it.

 

When I get back to my car I'll try and upload some pictures. I know the previous owner did a DIY for this.
