Default Sway Bar clearance

I'll be looking to buy a new muffler for my ek hatch soon. Been searching for a while now and I can't really find the answer so hopefully someone can shed some light here.

I recently installed an ASR subframe brace paired with an ASR 1 inch sway bar. Initially, I had problems clearing my Yonaka Muffler. I ended up having to get the axle back pipe extended about 2 inches to clear the bar. Otherwise the bar would interfere with the back of the muffler. My issue is now the exhaust tip sticks out like a sore thumb. What known mufflers clear the sway bar fine without sticking out way past the bumper? Is there anyone who shares the same experience and what muffler did you go with? It seems I am very limited on selection since the hatchback axle base is shorter than a coupe. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did you ever find a solution? I'm in the same boat. Right now I'm rocking the Spoon N1 exhaust but it's LOUD. Sounds really good, but I would like some something that's a little more quiet.

I'm running a 2.5" exhaust with a Thermal R&D muffler and a Progress rear brace with a sway bar. No clanging.

Hey thanks for your reply. Which specific muffler did you get? They have several options. This is on your ek hatch?

3" Thermal R&D from an Integra on an EK sedan. It was a freebie. Lol
