Hi it's a 2003 honda accord 2.4liter.

I replaced both fan motors...because the drivers side was not working. The original oem passenger side I kept as a spare.

So with the AC off....it takes awhile but later both fans turn on. Then shut off.

With the AC on they both come on and seem to stay on.

I could have sworn the the passenger side fan use to come on alone then later the driver side fan would if need be.

Now im not sure. Would you please clarify? So far testing shows they run together and then shut off.....and it seems with the AC on they just both kick on immediately, and do not seem to shut off....well so far.

Also they both spin clockwise facing from the engine side. In other words im behind both fans not in front face of vehicle but from the fender. And they both spin clockwise.

Im going to double check connections to see if maybe I ruined a wire or something that is forcing the computer to bridge them and work together. But I doubt it. Please let me know this is operating correctly. Thank you.

 

Generally, both cooling fans should be running at the same time. Normal.
