92vx b16a3 swap questions
I have inherited a 92 vx civic with a 95 b16a3 swap that I installed it doesn’t hit a lick when trying to start seems to have a extra plug on the passenger side shock tower not connected to anything what it is
Do you have distributor related codes ??? It looks like it has the CKP and CYP sensor wires in that plug... is the plug that you have pictured part of the chassis harness or the engine harness and is it found over near the right shock tower ???
that plug is part of the chassis harness the distributor is plugged in and it just turns over no eco codes I can’t find out what that plug is for and what is involved with doing a b series swap into a 92 vx hatch
Are you using the VX engine harness or do you have a different engine harness ???
that is a plug designation C129, it carries the wideband O2 wires.
that blue wire running from it is likely the crude solution to pull the correct wire out to run a narrowband.
If you are running anything other than the stock P07 ECU and wideband combo, you do not need it. (blue wire extension excluded of course)
