tranny wont catch gears
so it started just the other day im at a light turning left im in d4 and i hit the gas and its like the car is in neutral i have to turn the car off and back on 4 or 5 times before it finally goes into gear then on my way home while im driving it does the same thing i have to pull over and turn the car off and back on 4 or 5 times before it catches gears i have not codes and no lights on
check fluid level.
if it still acts up, get the trans hot, then drain all fluid, remove all solenoids and clean them, then reinstall and add fresh fluid to proper level again.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to check the fluid level with the engine NOT running. I know this is how you do it on older preludes. Is this how you checked fluid level?
