Hey everyone. So I spun a rod bearing about 2 days ago so here's what's going on. I'm not going to replace engine. I'm going to do it my way and rebuild it. I pulled the oil pan and oil pump off. Rod bearing 4 spun on itself. I pulled all bearings. Then disassembled the whole top of engine. Just got the head off last night. Pulled the pistons and no damage at all to the cylinders. Now here is where it gets fun. I want the car to run better and faster than before. Going to replace everything with performance parts. Any help on finding some will be great. Also. I will eventually turbo. I've been doing research on putting an f22a head on a f23a block and I've heard good and bad things. Any help on that would be great. Any tips or tricks or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks guys!! The beginning of a long day. Valve cover before. F23a block. Valve cover after.
