Default proportioning valve civic hatch 1994 dx

mine is leaking

i searched this forum and found an interchangeable parts thred where one guy said that the proportioning valves for 92-00 are interchangeable.
nobody said "you're wrong idiot"

I couldnt find this anywhere else,

so I am wondering it it is true as they look different, the ones after 95 are wider and less column-y looking.

if they are that would help a lot as I have a brake fluid habit that is not helping and my brakes suck too, probbly due to the lack of pressure going where it is supposed to go.
thanks!

i am thinking that a 3030 valve world work but that the lines would not line up right. So I am looking for rebuilding mine I think. There is a cool video on youtube where a guy removes and dismantles his by removing the torx security screws (hole in the middle) and then simply replace a couple of o-rings. I can imagine removing all of the brake lines will be a beeatch, I am not so confident in this but...what choice do I have?
