92 Accord mystery fuel pressure problem?
92 Accord ex auto trans f22 a while ago while I was driving low speeds all the sudden the car lost basically all engine power, electrical not affected . It momentarily corrects when I hit the gas, then loses power again, hit the gas and goes for a bit then repeat and the engine makes a clunking chuging sound when this happens .when I prime the fuel pump 3 times seems to be the magic number it suffices but if I don't, it's chug chug chug and I have to eventually pull over and do my key thing. I assume it's fuel system related but I'm aware it could be probably one of a million other things. Anyone have similar issue cause I've searched around and I can't find anything that's exactly my problem or the solution and I've got myself in trouble with replacing **** that didn't need to be replaced so SOS help
Beg/borrow/steal a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up and monitor fuel pressure.
If it is dropping or low, use a vacuum gauge to verify the fuel pressure regulator is functioning properly. If it is leaking the vacuum port will usually have fuel in it.
If neither seem to be faulty then you will need to verify that the fuel pump is getting proper voltage. If it is suffering voltage drop it is either due to a faulty connection at the pump(corrosions, damage, etc) or the Main Relay may have worn contacts inside.

02 sensor has been changed ,cat. chagned, its not the relay the regulator looks okay no damage to lines. and no visible fuel leaking in that area.. how do i access the fuel tank/pump to check for visible damage ? is there a easy way to access without jacking it up
How long has the gas in the tank been there? Have you tried running any safe, fuel system cleaner through the system? Something like Techron or Lube Gard is what I mean. I always try to think cheap, and simple when it comes to Hondas. A bottle of something to clean up the fuel system, versus new parts, is my thing.
Verify fuel pressure.
Lot simpler than digging half your interior apart to futz with something you may not be familiar with looking at for damage.
