Default questions about evap canister

This deposit requires some maintenance or cleaning or breaks?

Could it be that there is a CRX model that does not have this one? if so, where is the 2-way valve of the fuel tank

Can someone tell me where the bottom connection of the decanter goes?
https://i.ebayimg.co...r0x/s-l1600.jpg

Thanks and best regards

What vehicle do you have?

Best practices for requesting help:If you haven't done so fill in your vehicle info and profile page. At upper right corner under the search box click on user cp (it's your control panel)
This info will show up to the left under your user name and is very helpful.
  • Be sure you are in the correct forum for your vehicle.
  • Do a search for your problem. A lot of stuff has been asked and answered.
  • Do not double post for the same problem.
  • Give the model year....Engine size...transmission type (auto or standard)
  • Take a single issue at a time. Posting multiple issues at once will get convoluted very quickly
  • VIN number can be very helpful
  • Vehicle history can be good. How many miles. If not bought new, how many have you put on it.
  • Describe the problem best you can. If a noise can you get a sound or video file
  • Tell us what has been done, if anything, thus far. If tests have been performed give actual results not OK or passed. If scanned for codes the actual code(s) not O2 sensor or MAF, Etc.
  • If the vehicle has been to a repair facility it would be nice if you could post a picture of that invoice/bill
  • If your vehicle is under warranty you should have the dealer check it out. If it's a problem they see many times they will generate a safety recall of TSB. This is how they know of the problem.
This information can save a lot of time and get you the answers you need much faster.
Thanks,
Welcome aboard.

1. Generally, the evap charcoal canister does not require maintenance and seldom breaks.

2. Yes, there are CR-X models that do not have a charcoal canister. Certain models without catalytic converter do not have the charcoal canister.

Your country code indicates Spain and the D16A9 list as not having a catalytic converter; so, likely no charcoal canister.

The bottom hose of the canister is a drain hose.

3. The two way valve of the fuel tank is near the fuel tank.

yes it´s Spain without catalytic, but wachting the picture (ky only) the rectangule shows 2 way valve and cannister but if i remove them, where i have to connect the fuel tank?? to ITB and header intake?? like shows the picture without 2 way valve?

thanks for you answer

and also it´s a better solution the canister way (to uses the fuel gas tank) or connect without canister

If your talking about the line called the fuel vapor pipe, you can vent it to the atmosphere. You will need to make sure it isn't in the engine bay (fuel vapor anywhere near a spark is obviously bad) and also that it will not take on any kind of fluid

For models without the catalytic converter and evap canister, Honda uses a different two-way valve and different lines. In the following parts diagram for models without the evap canister; the 2 way valve (part #4) runs to a fuel vent air chamber (part #4).

Part # 3 is the two way valve for models with the canister.
