Default Overheating

hay guys so 05 Civic lx changed the water pump/timing belt the radiator/thermostat AND the head re dun by a Machine shop… Slapped it all together and turned on quick and hasslefree but… I still have the overheating problem tried to purge the system But either unsuccessful or did not do it long enough any advice?

is your fan switch good? does it come on at all or come on with using the AC?

Honestly did not check if fans turned on will check the switch! I had car on for about 30 min Did not see them turn on Did not see it if it turns on with AC either will check!

Fans need to cycle twice while bleeding the cooling system. I suggest you invest in a Lisle Spill Free coolant funnel at the same time. Essentially raises the coolant point and helps contain any extra.

If the fans do not kick on check the sensors themselves with a multimeter.
