Just got a hydro GSR transmission with a weird issue. Guy I got it from said sometimes the car would stop moving. Like the vehicle would be in gear and not move. He pulled it and replaced, and did say the clutch was pretty chewed up. But it was an intermittent issue, sometimes worked sometimes didn't. Thinking it was probably a clutch or TOB issue but I'm not sure I've never heard of this happening before. Should I put a new clutch on and slap it in or crack it open and take a look around?

 

That is a clutch issue. Either the clutch itself or the hydraulic system.
