Default Brake Line Reroute '96 EX-V6

My rear brake lines have finally rusted, but it isn't a surprise since i live in MN. I have replaced brake lines before and it isn't that hard, but i never done it on a Honda. I read that the rear passenger line is tucked around the gas tank, but i do not want to drop it. I have read that many people went and reroute this line under instead and i will be doing the same. My question is what would be the best route for the new line? If anyone has rerouted their's, please give me some advice. A picture would be very helpful, if possible.

I had this happen late last year on my daily. What I ended up doing was cutting out all the rusty parts and using a union to join up with a new line. I then bent the new line to follow the factory route but instead of dropping the subframe to run it above it, as is the factory spec, I just bent it along the bottom of the subframe and clamped it in 3 different spots. It's not going to move and was still sitting significantly higher than the gas tank so no risk of it grabbing something while driving down the road and causing issues. It's been fine since. As long as you make sure the line is clear of any moving parts and is attached to something solid that doesn't move(like the subframe itself), you should be fine.

Thanks, i will probably buy a few aluminum clips with rubber gourmets to hold the line and drill/tap some threads into the subframe.

That's exactly what I did except I just used some self tapping screws and hit it with some paint to make sure it didn't rust. It's not a difficult repair but it can be a pain without a lift. Trying to flare lines under the car can get annoying.
