My front left brake line seems to be leaking. The actual line is not leaking, it is where the flare and the screw screws onto the line. It is leaking from the connection. I have taken it apart cleaned the threads,flare inside hte metal of the brake line, teflon taped it, and tightened it VERY tight almost to the point of breaking it and it is still leaking! anybody have any input? thanks.

 

why dont you try changing the line. that might be the problem.

 

which part? the hard line or the rubber brake line?
