96 Civic EJ6 (Auto transmission Hesitate changing Gears)
Is there anything i shall check ?
it drive and will change gears no problem with normal drive...
But When i whack the throttle (Vtec kick in yooo lol) the gearbox will hesitate changing gears ..
so i have to let goes my throttle for it to upshift ..
The ATF oil seems Pretty fresh and enough..
but u will feel the car (jump) abit when changing gear...
and is this possible cause by a damage engine mount ? <===== i have a broken engine mount . and new one is on the way ..
And pardon my bad english hope you guys know what i am saying
Thankssssssss

well if you have a broken engine mount the engine is going to jump around.
By design, the engine will rev higher before shifting when the gas pedal is floored. It should still shift before the redline rpm if you keep pressing on the gas. It is not recommended to do this very often because of wear on the transmission.
An automatic Civic is not going to be very fast, or very quiet and smooth.

This is the engine mount that i mention.. It look broken.. When low rpm the cabin are vibrates.. So i am wondering does it effect on the autotramission gearbox

Sonner or later i will Replace the autotramission to manual transmission...

and updated...after changing my engine mount.. Problem still there... duh..
but i found that the problem occurs especially when the gearbox is hot ( Normal operating temperature ) it work perfectly fine when the engine and gearbox is cooler, will try to do multiple ATF drain-refill cycles ... this few week after i am free.
