“CAR BACKFIRE AND HESITATION AT HIGH RPMS” NEED HELP THANKS
So I just bought this 94 hatch with a b18c1 engine boosted with precision turbo non chipped ecu . I replaced the coil cause it went out a few moths ago. Then welded a few spots on turbo pipe that goes to exhaust due to loud pops being heard . After all that I noticed the car hesitates to rev past 5k parked or boosting while ridding , oh I also get backfire . So I replaced the spark plugs thinking it was that and no change still the same . Any suggestions???
All the genius minds here and nobody responded. I ghave a similar problem and they are not helping me either. Next thing some jerk will tell us to search even though we have and now we are here
No it wasn’t broken , there’s two small screws that connect some wire contacts to the coil one of them had just came loose I guess from not being as tight enough or from car vibrations thru out time . But the car would not respond at high rpms and would bog down a little and also it would sound back fire in the exhaust . I figure I had a exhaust leak or vacuum leak or a bad spark plug or wire , but it was the wire on the coil inside distributor.
