code 4, crank position sensor help
Ok i have a 98 hb, b16a 99 running a code 4 ckp and checked everything and still comes on also will only rev to 4grand. Please will somone help! thanks
I just got rid of my code 4 on my zc, make sure you have your distributor wires hooked up correctly. My crank sensor wires were fine but the TDC ones were messed up and it still threw a code 4, basiclly it doesn't necessarily mean the sensor is bad. Check and re-check wiring, check to make sure your timing belt hasn't slipped, if you know anyone with the same distributor as you try to swap them out and see if it goes away.
same happen to me like beta 13
i had that prob twice.. IMO check the wiring first!!!! make sure u got the CKP cables not switched.... usually its not a bad dizzy...after that make sure u still reset ecu and check fo rany bad gnds

timing is right, all plugs fine wires are fine, changed distributers and still same code 4.
